  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup French dressing
  • 2 tablespoons sweet relish
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • 2 cups iceberg lettuce shredded
  • 12 hamburger pickle chips

  • Additional secret sauce optional

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook for 3–4 minutes, breaking it up as it browns.

  • Stir in chopped pickles and cook for 1 more minute.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together all the Big Mac sauce ingredients until smooth.
  • Add 1 cup of the sauce to the beef mixture and stir to coat evenly. Reserve remaining sauce for assembly.

To assemble the sandwiches (double-decker style), layer in this order:

  • Bottom bun
  • Secret sauce
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Slice of American cheese
  • Beef mixture
  • Middle bun (bottom of another bun)
  • Secret sauce
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Pickle chips
  • Beef mixture
  • Top bun
  • Serve immediately with extra sauce on the side, if desired.

Notes

Use sesame seed buns for that classic Big Mac look and flavor.
Feel free to customize with grilled onions, tomatoes, or a drizzle of mustard.
The sauce can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 3 days.
Great served with fries, onion rings, or a crisp side salad.
