For the Chicken Pasta:
- 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 10 ounces penne pasta
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- For the Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes drained
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil for garnish
Cook the Chicken:
Season the chicken pieces with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked and no longer pink inside.
Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and set aside.
